About
For more than a decade, I have led deeply reported long-form written journalism, alongside field and in-house video and podcast productions at The Washington Post, where I manage a team of producers and video journalists across the U.S. and around the world.
Before joining The Post, I worked at Univision News, The Associated Press and BBC News, covering breaking news and international investigations. I also taught at Georgetown University, where I earned my master's in journalism.
In 2020, I was part of the Post team awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting.
I'm originally from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and grew up in Miami.
